Adam serves as Senior Vice President of Health System Development at Kindred Healthcare - including Kindred's Hospital Division, Kindred Rehabilitation, and Kindred Behavioral Health. Kindred is a leading diversified healthcare provider that provides high-quality patient outcomes in more than 300 hospital-based acute rehabilitation units, long term acute care hospital (LTACH), medical/surgical and outpatient therapy settings, behavioral health units, and more than 20 joint-venture inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. For more than 30 years, Kindred has partnered with the leading health systems across the country to provide clinical success and the highest quality patient outcomes – all while also ensuring regulatory compliance.

As Senior VP of Health System Development, Adam helps health systems achieve greater patient outcomes and operational success through joint-venture partnership and contract management. Adam nurtures and builds relationships with potential partners to ensure they are educated on how Kindred can meet their unique needs through contract management or joint venture partnership.

Following an extensive national search, the IRHA board of directors confirmed Cara Veale as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer in 2020, with Dr. Veale formally assuming her responsibilities in July of that year. She joined IRHA from Daviess Community Hospital in southwest Indiana, where she previously served in a variety of executive leadership positions, including Vice President of Provider Services (providing administrative oversight for the medical practice division) and serving as the hospital’s first Chief Patient Experience Officer. Prior to taking on executive responsibilities, Dr. Veale was the hospital’s Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapies, where she oversaw physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology and audiology services. She began her professional career as an Occupational Therapist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes (Indiana) in 2006, moving to the nearby Daviess Community Hospital in 2007.

Holding a Doctorate in Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Veale also received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Prior to being selected as CEO for IRHA, Dr. Veale served on the Board of Directors of the organization.

Kevin Ban, MD, is a physician executive with more than two decades of clinical experience and a track record for optimizing clinical programs, healthcare information systems, and patient safety. Prior to joining Walgreens as Chief Medical Officer, Kevin served as Chief Medical Officer at athenahealth, driving collaborative and strategic initiatives with a specific focus on population health. A board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 24 years of clinical experience, he served as Beth Israel Deaconness Needham’s CMO and was a member of Harvard Medical School’s academic faculty from 2003-2016. Kevin led the Tuscan Emergency Medicine Initiative from 2003-2010 — driving success in emergency medicine education, quality improvement, translational research, and simulation training in the region and launched the first pediatric trauma center in Italy where he served as Chairman of the program. Kevin received his BA and MD from Georgetown University and completed his Emergency Medicine training in the Beth Israel Deaconess Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program.

VJ Viswanathan is a veteran global technology executive recognized and awarded for technology innovation, capability transformation and inclusive leadership. Most recently, VJ is the founding partner at CYFORIX, a global cybersecurity research, advisory & strategy firm delivering solutions to public and private sectors. He serves as the CEO at TORQE, a specialized due diligence, advisory and technology services firm delivering value through analytics and automation. VJ is also the co-host of ELEVATEINTEL, a podcast series at the nexus of technology, social and defense.

With over 25 years of Enterprise technology, Cyber Security, Privacy, Compliance and Risk Management experience, VJ has a detailed track record of designing, implementing and leading highly successful programs, products & services at multinational brands spanning CPG, Telecom, Media, Supply-chain & Finance segments.
As a strategic thought leader, VJ has delivered the first of its kind "Supply Chain Security" & “Omni-channel Risk management” frameworks. As a published author and featured keynote speaker at global industry events, he approaches disruptive digital paradigms with innovation, creativity and active collaboration with his key industry peers, national & international law enforcement and defense groups.

VJ is an active advisor, investor at select incubators & accelerators groups. As a strategic advisor to VC & PE firms, he specializes in developing market analysis, competitive product road map and guides in opportunity mapping. As a Board member and subject matter advisor to CEOs and Corporate directors, VJ evaluates and audits cyber security program for veracity and operational effectiveness.

VJ is passionate about animal rights and giving back to the technology & security industry. He has created a rescue & foster care group for large breed dogs. He is actively engaged with academic institutions and purpose driven professional groups like ‘Minorities in Cyber security’, where he serves as the Board member and chair of mentorship programs to develop the next generation talent through coaching and facilitating scholarships for cyber security education.

Dr. Chad Craig, is an experienced healthcare executive with a focus on data-driven and innovative approaches to improving care delivery. He completed his MD at Boston University, residency in internal medicine at UCLA, and MBA and MS in Healthcare Leadership at Cornell University. He currently serves as Regional Vice President of Medical Affairs, and System Hospital Medicine Service Line Director at Marshfield Clinic Health System in Wisconsin. In addition to telehealth initiatives, he has led perioperative services at several institutions, and is passionate about work surrounding health care equity, diversity and inclusivity.

Albert Ferreira is the Director Telehealth Operations at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH. Mr. Ferreira is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Telehealth and Digital Health offerings throughout the organization. In his role, he collaborates closely with executive leadership, clinicians, operational staff, information systems members and vendor partners, to design, implement and manage a leading, state-of-the-art Telehealth program and Digital Health portfolio. Since arriving in July 2019, he has led the development and growth of MetroHealth’s Direct-to-Consumer, Direct-to-Patient, Provider-to-Provider and Remote Patient Monitoring Telehealth services.

Mr. Ferreira is an experienced digital health thought leader with more than twenty five years of technology experience, with the last fifteen focused in healthcare innovation and disruptive technology management. He is subject matter expert in the areas of strategic planning, solution implementation, clinical workflow optimization and patient centric care design. He holds a master’s degree in Health Administration and bachelor degree in Information Systems Management.

Chuck D'Antonio is a zealous cook, eater, and cocktail composer driven by a desire to increase the joy his customers and team find in their work. As a leader in the solution architecture team at OutSystems, he works with customers to understand how our low-code approaches and the OutSystem platform will help them improve their software delivery. He believes that these improvements are the key to increasing business value while reducing operational risk. Before joining OutSystems, Chuck worked with customers like the the US Government, various Blue Cross Blue Shield associations, and Boston Scientific to enable their transition to modern software development practices. He integrates his work as system architect, servant leader, and trusted advisor with his love for his family and a passion for open water swimming.
